Where is Camp Gourley held?
Grace Brethren High School hosts Camp Gourley. Grace Brethren High School is
located at 1350 Cherry Avenue. From Los Angeles and Sycamore, go south to
Elizondo Avenue and turn right. Continue to Cherry Avenue at the first stop light and
turn left. The school is on your left.
What can I expect from my son after Camp each day?
coaching 10 and 11 year olds when I was 17 myself. I identify with boys very easily
and am also physically active during camp so I can feel what they are going
through. We have frequent breaks, but I push them hard in conditioning, drills,
competitions and scrimmages. They will likely be very tired at night and very sore in
the morning. In most cases, Wednesday is the peak day and the turning point. Many
boys feel great on Thursday. In almost all cases, despite how sore and tired they are
each night, they can't wait to come back the next day.
